AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Fabio Accorrà’s photograph in a limited edition with FRAME 50x40 cm INCLUDED.

I create photographs designed to endure over time, not to be consumed in a few seconds on a screen.

My name is Fabio Accorrà and I create Fine Art photographs in Limited Edition, printed and framed with high-quality materials and aimed at collectors, art enthusiasts, and spaces seeking character.

My work arises from personal research. Each photograph is the result of careful looking and conscious choices: nothing is casual, nothing is mass-produced.

Each work is produced in a limited number of copies, signed and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. I personally oversee every stage of the process, from creation to final print, to ensure that each piece fully reflects my vision.

I believe in the value of the printed photographic work and in the power of images capable of accompanying a space and its inhabitant, day after day.

If you are looking for a photograph that can become part of your story, you can explore the collections available in these auctions.

Who I am

Born in 1984, a lifelong traveler, I approached photography in the 1990s, developing the first rolls and using the Polaroid. Photography has left an indelible mark on every one of my journeys, from the confined landscapes of Lapland to the chaotic life of New York and Tokyo, from desert sands to the power of nature in Iceland, up to the far reaches of Greenland. From Salgado to Steve McCurry, my inspiration spans travel photography to traditional black-and-white.

My publications and photographic exhibitions are diverse across Italy. To cite a few of the most important: in 2019 I published The colors of Japan, published by Erga, a photographic project that tells of my journey in Japan, and in the same year I exhibited at the Consulate-General of Japan with a photographic show featuring excerpts from the book. In 2020 the success continued with the exhibition “The Colors of Japan” at the Edoardo Chiossone Museum of Oriental Art in Genoa.

I have served as a judge in the Wiki Loves Monuments photography contest with Wikimedia Italia for the Abruzzo Region in 2019 and 2020 editions. In May 2021, also helped by the pandemic that kept me from long travels, I published “The Colors of Genoa” (Erga Editions), a photographic book that tells the beauties of my beloved city. In June 2022 I published my third photographic book, “Venice — colors and words of silence” (Erga Editions), a photographic reportage that portrays Venice as never seen before, deserted during the last lockdown.

In December 2023 I received the “Talento di Genova 2023” Award from the Mayor of Genoa, Marco Bucci, upon the proposal of the Genoa Talent Committee of the Municipality of Genoa.

Seller's Story
