Old Greek icon “Christ on the Throne” from the 20th century.

The icon was completely handcrafted on a wooden panel, following ancient methods of icon painting. This is a copy of the icon (see certificate on the back of the icon).

A truly striking and exceptional icon with a very detailed depiction and many additional details (two more saints surrounding Christ).

Perfectly harmonized color contrasts and successful shading. The faces and garments of the saints are particularly striking.

The saints are inscribed. The inscription is clearly legible. The icon is in good condition with typical, age-related signs of wear (see photos).

There are very beautiful and authentic age-related craquelure on the icon (see photos). Heavy and sturdy wooden panel.
