Omega pocket watch with an Art Nouveau enamel dial and manual-wind movement, case diameter over 50 mm with a 53 mm lug width, in working order and in good condition with visible wear, produced circa 1901–1902.
Description from the seller
Watch from a private collection; I have no record of the last service, but it is working.
This is a genuine vintage mechanical Omega pocket watch, with a beautiful artistic decoration, produced approximately in the year 1902.
Thanks to the detailed images you shared, it was possible to determine with precision the identity and age of this piece through the mechanical engravings:
1. Exact Dating by Serial Number
The back lid bears the serial number engraved 1873226. In Omega's historical records, sequential numbering began at 1,000,000 in 1894. Since the 2,000,000 mark was reached in 1902, this example sits exactly at the tail end of 1901 or during 1902.
2. The Artistic Dial
The white enamel dial is one of the most striking aspects of this model: It stands out for its Art Nouveau decoration, with blue cartouches framing the Arabic numerals. It features delicate floral ornaments and hand-applied gold dots around the central hands. It has the classic subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o'clock and the vintage brand logo with the Ω Omega symbol.
Please look carefully at the photos before bidding and bid only if you agree with the auction terms and are aware that this is a used watch.
