AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
The Promise of the Road
There are moments when moving forward means trusting. The promise of the road arises from that feeling: setting out on a journey without knowing exactly the destination, but with the intimate certainty that something awaits us ahead.
The female figure advances on horseback amid an architecture of vertical lines and vegetation that seems to envelop the path. Her serene posture contrasts with the movement of the animal, creating a scene in which strength and calm coexist. There is no urgency in the journey; there is determination.
Valdi builds the composition using broad fields of color —black, blue, yellow, and warm tones— that transform the scene into an intense and contemporary image. The horse takes on an almost monumental presence, while the figure blends with it as part of a single impulse forward.
The Promise of the Road speaks of what we have not yet known: new places, decisions, encounters, and possibilities. A work about the desire to continue and about that silent hope which, sometimes, is enough to get us moving.
Original and unique work, created and signed by Valdi. It is delivered accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
