Elegant liturgical chalice in silvered metal, characterized by rich raised ornamentation in a baroque style.

The cup, of truncated conical shape, has a smooth and polished inner and outer surface on the upper part, while the lower part is decorated with a finely worked decorative band, with volutes, scrolls, floral and foliate motifs, arranged around a central anthropomorphic figure.

The stem is divided by molded elements and features at the center a complex figurative decoration with angelic figures, inserted into an elaborate ornamental repertoire.

The foot, wide and poly-lobed, constitutes the most decorated element of the work: the surface is entirely adorned with volutes, racemes, leaves and floral motifs, framed by concentric ornamental borders.

The decorative apparatus confers a strong visual richness and a stance that can be traced to the tradition of Baroque and Neobaroque sacred art.
