Product Description
Japanese Bamboo Craft: 3-Piece Set (Flower Basket & Ikebana Vessels)
This is a three-piece set of traditional Japanese crafts—centered around a bamboo flower basket—that embodies a traditional Japanese aesthetic.
At the center stands a flower basket meticulously woven from finely processed bamboo strips. It features delicate weaving and a handle that sweeps in a graceful, large arc—a design that highlights the natural beauty of the bamboo material and reflects a distinctly Japanese style.
Flanking the center piece are two dark-toned vessels of differing shapes; the contrast between these and the natural hue of the central bamboo basket creates a captivating visual balance.
The central basket is designed in the style of a *hanakago* (flower basket) used in *Ikebana* (Japanese flower arranging).
In *Ikebana*, the vessel holding the flowers is considered just as vital to the composition as the flowers themselves. Bamboo flower baskets, in particular, allow one to appreciate the material's natural texture, the intricacy of the weave, and the form itself, serving as a craft object that evokes a traditional Japanese sense of beauty.
Displaying these three pieces together creates a serene arrangement that embodies the Japanese concept of *Wabi-Sabi* (finding beauty in imperfection and simplicity).
This set is an excellent addition to collections of Japanese art, Asian art, bamboo crafts, or *Ikebana*-related items in Europe. Dimensions
