Jardinière - Ceramic - Gerbing & Stefan XXe

This piece is a gardener or table cutter in majolica (barbotine) made by the famous Austro-Hungarian manufacture Gerbing & Stephan in Bodenbach (Bohemia), dating from the late nineteenth century (around 1880-1900).
It is characterised by:
A rich decor of neo-baroque/historicalist style with shades of brown, cream and blue highlights.
Two figurines of angels (or small carved figures) serving as shots or ornaments on the sides.
A decorative treatment sometimes taking up the aesthetics of partitioned enamels
