Marina con pescatori, an oil painting by E. Lenzi (XX), 1930–1940, oil on panel, depicting a maritime landscape, Italian origin, original edition, framed, 75 x 45 cm, signed by hand, in good condition.
Description from the seller
Oil on panel
Marina with fishermen
Italian School
19th-20th century
Signed E.Lenzi at bottom right
Good condition
Patinated
The work depicts a suggestive seascape with a late 19th-century imprint, populated by moored boats and fishing figures on the shore. The painting technique is characterized by a swift, thick, and vibrant brushstroke, skillfully orchestrated on a warm color palette that evokes the fading light of the day. The support on the back shows the characteristic finish of rigid panels popular in the first half of the 20th century.
The frame, contemporary, in gilded wood, is in good condition with signs of age that attest to the originality of the period.
The metal label shows the name Carlo, which is naturally an original misprint.
Provenance: inheritance from a Sicilian family
Tracked shipment with courier
The frame is provided as a courtesy
Any defects caused by transport will not be a reason for complaint or cancellation of the sale
