A dramatic and romantic statement of vintage silversmithing, these articulated chandelier drop earrings are crafted in solid silver with deep contrast antique oxidation. The ornate upper framework features openwork Rococo Revival volutes, sculpted palmettes, and scrolling acanthus leaf tendrils that cradle the lower settings. Multi-prong set within each drop is a large, faceted oval gem of faceted black onyx displaying high-gloss glassy reflections, a pointed pavilion, and bold geometric facets. Suspended from hinged leverback ear wires for secure and comfortable wear, they offer elegant kinetic swing and timeless Gothic Victorian appeal.
