Description from the seller
Krug Grande Cuvée Brut Champagne – Magnum 1.5L – Older Gold Label – Neck Code L503 / 2972
An older-label magnum of Krug Grande Cuvée Brut Champagne, featuring the distinctive shield-shaped front label and gold-coloured neck foil. The front label states 150 cl, and the neck foil bears the marking L503 / 2972.
The exact base year, edition and disgorgement date have not been confirmed.
Condition:
The bottle shows substantial external dust and surface deposits. The front label is very loose and fragile, with staining, wear and areas of paper loss, particularly along the upper edge. The principal Krug branding and bottle capacity remain readable. The bottle was stored in one wine cellar since it was purchased without being moved.
The neck foil remains in place and shows visible age-related wear and creasing. Please examine the photographs carefully for the bottle’s external condition.
As with any older bottle, the condition of the wine cannot be established without opening it.
The bottle will be carefully packed for shipping, with particular attention to protecting the fragile label.
