Description from the seller
Kaneda stands at the center of a devastated Neo-Tokyo while Tetsuo rises behind him, his body already beginning to surrender to the terrifying power growing within. Mechanical cables, exposed machinery and mutated flesh spread from Tetsuo’s arm, foreshadowing the transformation that will ultimately push him beyond the limits of the human body.
A monumental red sun dominates the composition, framing the two former friends like figures from a tragic Japanese legend. Around them, Neo-Tokyo burns — a city caught in the same cycle of destruction, rebellion and rebirth that defines their relationship.
Technique: Giclée print on Heavy Gloss Paper Textured
Size: A3 format (29 x 42 cm)
Edition: Hand-signed by the artist
Certificate: Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity
About the Artist:
Sato Hageshi is a young Japanese artist who fuses traditional aesthetics with modern pop culture. Inspired by ukiyo-e prints and vintage poster art, he reimagines global icons like superheroes and film legends through a distinctly Japanese lens. His bold, detailed works create a dialogue between past and present, tradition and modernity, making him a rising voice in contemporary Japanese art.
