Description from the seller
Château Haut Nouchet - L'orangerie – AOP PESSAC LEOGNAN 2022 – 6 x 75 cl
Delivered in its original box
The estate covers 15 hectares. The vines occupy a terroir of gravels, clay and limestone.
The blend is composed of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 7% Petit Verdot and 3% Cabernet Franc.
The harvest is done by hand. A triple sorting is performed: in the vineyard, then before and after destemming. This selection aims to vinify only healthy and perfectly ripe fruit.
The vinification is led by Stéphane Derenoncourt. It begins in thermoregulated stainless steel tanks, followed by 12 months of élevage in oak barrels. The barrels are renewed to the extent of one third each year.
The wine shows an expression marked by red fruit, with a tannic structure and a certain suppleness on the palate.
Its aging potential is 12 to 15 years.
No shipments to Ireland or Norway and outside Europe, as parcels are systematically blocked by customs.
