This is a Japanese-made three-tiered lacquer storage box featuring a glossy black finish, vermilion-lacquered interior, and gold *maki-e* orchid designs inlaid with natural mother-of-pearl that displays a brilliant iridescence as light strikes it.
The box consists of three independent, stackable compartments with interiors finished in vermilion lacquer. It is suitable for storing jewelry or small items and remains in excellent condition.
