Fr. Noè dell'Ordine di S. Francesco - Viaggio da Venezia al S. Sepolcro, ed al Monte Sinai - 1781

Rustic binding with visible cords, 136 pages, measurements 20 x 13 cm, complete work. The volume is illustrated by about 100 wood engravings of different formats, including those of Corfu, Modon, Candia, Rhodes, Cairo, engraved on two pages. Various subjects of cities, towns, ancient monuments, and animals little known in the West. As highlighted in the attached photos, there are physiological blooms typical of the period due to the type of paper. For accuracy I note a small tear without loss on the first blank leaf. The rarity of the 1781 Remondini edition of Viaggio da Venezia al Santo Sepolcro is very high: we are looking at a print almost vanished, today only available in a very few Venetian libraries and in a few religious collections.
