New small puffy candy, a 2023 resin and marble powder sculpture by Sagrasse (Sandro Grassetti), edition gold limited to 499 copies, measuring 38 cm high, 16 cm deep and 15 cm wide, produced in Italy, in excellent condition and with a hand-signed certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
Sagrasse (Sandro Grassetti, born in 1966) is a Marche-born artist whose life sinks its roots into artisanal craftsmanship. For forty years he worked in the shadow of his workshop in a small municipality among the hills of Marche, specializing at the highest levels in resin work, varnishing, and electroplating.
The turning point of his life comes with the COVID-19 pandemic: the forced lockdown and the suspension of time become an emotional catalyst, pushing him to unleash the artistic urgency he always carried. What for decades had been “only” a technique of excellence thus becomes the means to give life to modern, vibrant, and ironic pop sculptures. Today Sagrasse has transformed his artisanal know-how into a recognized language of contemporary art, proving that it is never too late to give voice to one’s most authentic talent.

In recent years his work has received important public and private recognitions, culminating in participation in prestigious exhibitions. Among these are the presence at the Contemporary Art Exhibition “Arte Venezia” in 2025, the collaboration with the VERUM Center for Art and Culture, and the inclusion of his works in the renowned Fuser Private Collection. From craftsman to signatory of the Neo-Pop landscape, Sagrasse shows how a lifetime of experience can transform into pure and acknowledged artistic expression.
Sagrasse is not simply an artist who uses resin; he is a master craftsman who has released the technique from the constraint of function, putting it at the service of the imagination. His works are colored mirrors in which our society is reflected: pop, brilliant, ironic, and irresistibly modern.
Sagrasse’s work sits squarely in the trail of New Pop Art and Urban Art. While the association with Banksy is evident for its strong satirical charge, irony, and ability to reinterpret everyday icons or pop culture in a critical key, Sagrasse’s universe closely dialogues with other giants of the international scene such as Jeff Koons, KAWS, Takashi Murakami, Mr. Brainwash, and Richard Orlinski.
The object is an exclusive Sagrasse creation.
It is a handmade work, conceived and produced entirely in Italy. The small imperfections that may be found are the natural characteristic of fully manual workmanship.
It is recommended not to expose it to heat sources; clean without detergents, but only with a soft cloth.
