Sagrasse (Sandro Grassetti, born in 1966) is an artist from the Marche region whose life roots in artisanal craftsmanship. For forty years he worked in the shadow of his workshop in a small town among the Marche hills, specializing at the highest levels in resin processing, painting, and chrome plating.

The turning point of his life comes with the COVID-19 pandemic: the forced lockdown and the suspension of time become an emotional catalyst, pushing him to unleash the artistic urgency he had always kept. What for decades had been “only” a technique of excellence thus becomes the means to give life to modern, vibrant, and ironic pop sculptures. Today Sagrasse has transformed his craft into a language of contemporary art, proving that it is never too late to give voice to one’s most authentic talent.
