Francesco di Marino’s mixed‑technique oil painting Marina napoletana al largo del Palazzo Donn’Anna a Posillipo, circa 1930, 41 × 51 cm, Italy, in good condition and sold with a frame.
Description from the seller
Provenance: from a private collection.
Pleasant oil painting on plywood by the painter Francesco di Marino, measuring 25 x 35 cm, without a frame.
The painter Di Marino, in this painting, very beautiful and well done, forms part of a painting where he depicts here a seascape of Naples with a splendid view of the Palazzo Donn’Anna at Posillipo, with a beauty and delicacy that distinguishes him in these wonderful marine subjects.
A painting from a good artistic period of the artist.
The work, of excellent artistic and chromatic rendering, is in good condition of conservation, with aging signs visible from the photos. The paint layer is nevertheless well adhered to the original support.
Analysis with a Wood lamp confirms the author's signature as autographic and contemporaneous with the creation of the painting.
The frame shown in the photos above was added by the seller to the artwork; it is original and antique, from the late 19th century, of good commercial value, and is provided at no additional cost so that it is ready to display upon arrival. The frame is included as a courtesy and is not considered an integral part of the artwork together with the glazing protecting the painting.
Therefore, any potential damage to the frame or to the glass with possible breakage that does not affect the artwork itself will not be accepted as a valid reason to open a claim or request order cancellation.
A careful packaging and trackable shipment is guaranteed.
Export to the United Kingdom is excluded due to current customs regulations, and to Russia, Belarus and Ukraine due to difficulties caused by the war conflict. Arabic-speaking and Eastern countries.
