Fundamentally composed of iron (92.6%) and nickel (6.7%). It is classified as a thick octahedron. It comes from the core of an ancient asteroid that fragmented billions of years ago. It fell to Earth 4,500 years ago on the border between Chaco and Santiago del Estero, in Argentina.
