Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Two hand-blown glass art objects from Germany dating to 1970–1980, in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear; the larger 33 cm high piece features a lily-like form with a blue-green band, while the smaller piece measures about 26 cm and has a bell- or cup-shaped form with white butterfly motifs inside.
Description from the seller
The two objects are characterized by a very playful, organic, and typical studio glass design of the late 20th century:
Form & Style: Both pieces feature a strikingly curved, spirally twisted stem (cord- or snake-stem) and a wavy-shaped, flared rim.
Color Effect: The glass has an iridescent finish (pearl- or lustre effect) that shimmers in pastel tones such as blue, green, yellow, and pink depending on the light.
Details of the 26 cm glass: The smaller, goblet- or bowl-shaped piece contains fine, white butterfly motifs embedded inside, which look like delicate engravings or melted decorations.
Details of the 33 cm glass:
The larger glass is formed as a tall, slender solitaire vase, whose body recalls an opening flower bud (similar to a lily or tulip) and features a wavy blue-green marbling.
Since this is genuine handwork (mouth-blown in the furnace), each piece is unique, which is also evident in the slightly different color mixtures of the two bases.
