For sale: an authentic gorget of a French infantry officer, Model 1814 
A very beautiful antique piece and 100% original, ideal for a militaria or 19th-century history collector. Visual description: Crescent-shaped brass plate displaying its original patina. Central motif in silvered metal representing the crowned coat of arms with three fleurs-de-lis, surrounded by finely detailed palm fronds.
Original elements: Equipped with its two lateral passementerie buttons and its period suspension cord. Condition: An item "in its patina" with signs of wear that attest to its authenticity. The gilding wear on the brass gives it a beautiful matte patina. 
The fabric lining at the back is partially preserved (see photos).

Vends un authentique hausse-col d'officier d'infanterie française, Modèle 1814 
Une très belle pièce d'époque et 100 % originale, idéale pour collectionneur de militaria ou d'histoire du XIXe siècle.Description visuelle : Plateau en laiton de forme croissant présentant sa patine d'origine. Motif central en métal argenté représentant l'écusson couronné aux trois fleurs de lys, entouré de branches de palmes bien détaillées.
Éléments d'origine : Équipé de ses deux boutons de passementerie latéraux et de sa cordelette de suspension d'époque.État : Objet "dans son jus" avec les marques du temps qui attestent de son authenticité. L'usure de la dorure sur le laiton lui donne une belle patine mate. 
La doublure en tissu à l'arrière est partiellement conservée (voir photos).
