Title: Donna di miele
Dimensions: 40x30 cm
Year: 2023
Dante Bellacorte was born in Palermo in 1987. His painting focuses on figurative portraiture, reinterpreted through a contemporary sensibility and a strong nod to classical tradition. In his paintings, female faces emerge from dark, silent backgrounds, illuminated by warm, theatrical light. The painting matter, the textures of the skin, and the intensity of the gazes create images suspended between melancholy, grace, and introspection. Through a refined, tactile oil technique, Bellacorte breathes life into timeless figures—fragile and solemn—capable of turning the portrait into an intimate, poetic tale.
NB: The work will be shipped in a sturdy, transit-friendly tube. The colors of the painting may differ slightly from the photos due to screen settings. In person, the artworks are more beautiful than in photography: one can appreciate the hypnotic beauty of the oil colors coming to life on the canvas.
