Title: White Veil
Dimensions: 30x40 cm
Year: 2026
Dante Bellacorte was born in Palermo in 1987. His painting focuses on figurative portraiture, reinterpreted through a contemporary sensibility and a strong link to classical tradition. In his paintings, female faces emerge from dark, silent backgrounds, illuminated by a warm, theatrical light. The painterly material, the textures of the skin, and the intensity of the gazes build images suspended between melancholy, grace, and introspection. Through a refined and tactile oil technique, Bellacorte brings to life timeless figures, fragile and solemn, capable of turning the portrait into an intimate and poetic tale.
NB: The artwork will be shipped inside a sturdy tube suitable for shipments. The colors of the painting may differ slightly from the photos due to screen settings. In person, the artworks are more beautiful than in photography: one can appreciate the hypnotic beauty of the oil colors coming to life on the canvas.
