World Cup 1966 - Pele, Eusebio, Beckenbauer, Charlton, Seeler, Albert, Yashin and Banks - 1967 - Set of 8 football super stars of 1966

Rare 1966 World Cup super Stars Vintage Soccer Card Lot (8 Cards)
1967 Victoria Vedetten Parade (Album 2)

Description:
I am selling a rare lot of 8 soccer/football cards of legends from the 1967 Victoria Vedetten Parade (Album 2) series. These are 8 of the absolute stars of the 1966 world cup with Pele and Eusebio as the most famous names.
Issued by Victoria Chocolates in Belgium just one year after the iconic 1966 World Cup, these regional cards were originally distributed with chocolate bars and intended to be glued directly into a collector's album.
Because of their distribution method, the vast majority of surviving copies suffer from severe paper tears, thick glue chunks, or heavy staining on the backs. Finding a collection in fairly clean status —especially with clean fronts and sharp colors— is rare on the international collectors market. They were only issued in Belgium making them rather scarce for collectors world wide and which is why especially Pele and Eusebio collectors are hunting for a copy of these players.
While the cards I am offering are not mint and do have minor paper loss or light staining on their reverse sides from historical album removal, the portraits and corners display nice eye appeal for 60-year-old vintage collection cards.

Condition: Ungraded – Fronts present beautifully (Very Good), backs have typical regional album wear (light paper loss/staining). Please see detailed photos to understand the exact condition of each card.

Cards in this lot:

Pelé (Brazil – #357): The undisputed "King of Football." Despite being targeted by brutal tackles and knocked out early in the 1966 tournament, Pelé remains the crown jewel of any vintage soccer set. His Victoria Parade card is highly sought after by global collectors and rarely found in a condition without heavy staining or paper loss on the back

Eusébio (Portugal – #361): The absolute superstar of the 1966 World Cup. "The Black Panther" carried Portugal to a historic third-place finish, claiming the Golden Boot as the tournament's top scorer with 9 goals.

Franz Beckenbauer (West Germany – #358): "Der Kaiser" in his breakthrough international tournament. At just 20 years old, he dominated the midfield and scored 4 goals, leading West Germany all the way to the iconic Wembley Final.

Bobby Charlton (England – #362): The heartbeat of England's 1966 World Cup-winning squad. Charlton scored both goals in the semi-final against Portugal and went on to win the Ballon d'Or later that year.

Uwe Seeler (West Germany – #363): One of Germany’s greatest ever forwards and the resilient captain of the 1966 runner-up squad. He played through severe injuries to anchor the German attack.

Flórián Albert (Hungary – #359): The legendary Hungarian forward who put on a masterclass performance in 1966 to defeat the reigning champions, Brazil. He went on to win the Ballon d'Or in 1967.

Lev Yashin (Soviet Union – #368): "The Black Spider," widely recognized as the greatest goalkeeper in the history of soccer. Yashin put on a stellar performance to guide the USSR to the 1966 semi-finals.

Gordon Banks (England – #360): England’s legendary shot-stopper who didn't concede a single goal from open play until the semi-finals, serving as the defensive foundation for England's historic championship victory.

If you are a collector of vintage football cards that are scarce on the collectors market and hard to get in a good condition, you should consider bidding in the auction as you will get the 8 most important players/cards of that 1967 Victoria series all at once!

I will ship very fast (within 48 hours) and make sure that the cards are will protected for transport!
