Original 200x100 cm acrylic painting by POPLEA titled MON GORILLE A MOI XXL, signed by hand on the back, produced in France for Galerie, dating from 2020 or later, depicting a black and white gorilla reaching toward fluorescent flowers with a street-art pochoir feel.
AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
A black and white gorilla reaches a hand toward an explosion of fluorescent flowers. Its silhouette, treated in a stencil-inspired spirit evoking Banksy street art, contrasts with the pink, yellow and blue that flood the canvas.
The paint splashes, drips and overlaps. The projections and the material give the work a raw, almost living energy. In front of this imposing gorilla, the flowers carry a simple and powerful message: even strength can choose gentleness.
A work that is both wild, luminous and full of hope.
Signed on the back by "Popléa" and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
The canvas is sold rolled, not mounted on a frame.
The frame is not included and serves only as a presentation suggestion.

The artist Popléa:
If you possess this work, you hold an authentic piece signed Popléa.
But you should know: Popléa is a pseudonym.
They have not yet revealed their identity — intentionally. This choice is part of a broader artistic project, a form of experimentation:
Create without a name, without status, without biography.
The work alone. The image alone. What it evokes. What you feel.
The artist behind Popléa is already exhibited, recognized, collected — but wanted to explore another path, freer. Refusing the filters, the codes, the discourses.
Refusing that it is always the same people — galleries, experts, networks — who decide what has value.
Maybe what you own is the beginning of something.
Or perhaps it is simply a work that speaks to you, here and now.
Both options are beautiful.
And deep down, maybe that’s the true luxury.
The work is hand-signed, delivered ready to hang, in a 4x4 packaging with insured shipping included.
Happy bidding
