Bay of Angels - Hand-signed is a 2022 limited edition giclée on canvas, 40 × 40 cm, signed by LeYack front and back, with a certificate of authenticity, produced in France and sold directly from the artist.
Description from the seller
Late afternoon on a cliff edge. Leaning against the cream-colored convertible with red leather interior, a woman in an ivory backless gown and printed silk turban holds her dark sunglasses at face level, turned toward the bay. Below, a city of orange-tiled rooftops rises, a light citadel, a marina crowded with white yachts; to the right, the sea a deep blue, and in the foreground a pine tree whose shadow cuts into the ground. Semiotically, the painting enacts a hierarchy of gaze: she dominates the port, the port dominates the sea, and the viewer, positioned behind her, sees only what she allows. The palette—cream, ochre, cobalt, coral of the sky—reawakens the chromatic anchors of the corpus. A supple facture, thickening in the foliage, luminous flat areas on the bodywork.
Artwork features:
Signature: Hand-signed by the artist on the front and on the back of the work.
Technique: Giclée print on canvas stretched on a frame, using high-quality pigment printing for faithful reproduction of details and colors.
