Purple Noon - Hand-signed is a 2022 giclée on canvas by LeYack, hand-signed, in a limited edition of 20 numbered prints, 40 × 40 cm, from France.
Description from the seller
Terrace overlooking a port on the coast. In profile, arms crossed, a blonde woman with a low bun, olive green blouse and long white sheath, silk scarf tied at the neck and fluttering in the wind, gazes at the sea over the low wall. In the foreground, the lacquered rear of a red coupé with chrome lights spans the full width; below, a breakwater, a marina bristling with masts, two sailboats offshore, and the line of hills. Semiotically, the car blocks the path to the sea: the woman is held on this side of the wall, a spectator of an horizon she does not join. The olive green / white / bright red on cobalt gives the canvas its energy; smooth finish, sharp shadows, the advertising-bright gleam of the chromes.
