Gaby Acevedo - Lucis fragmenta - Caelid (XL)

“Caelid” is a unique and original work from my series "Lucis Fragmenta", where I explore how light fragments and reappears through color and form.

The structure is born first, marking the rhythm of the pictorial space. Then color intervenes, transforming those initial shapes and generating a visual field in which light seems to emerge from the interaction between planes. In “Caelid”, that appearance is dynamic: each fragment of color can become a point of light.

An open work, that suggests more than it represents and allows each spectator to discover their own perception of luminosity and depth.

• "Lucis fragmenta - Caelid" is a contemporary abstract artwork, unique and original, entirely handmade with professional acrylic on cotton canvas.

The canvas measures approximately 120 cm × 35 cm, including the margin necessary for its mounting on a frame of 110 cm × 25 cm × 2 cm (approximately) or to be framed according to your preferences.

• Finish and protection: The work is protected with a professional satin varnish, which preserves the intensity of the colors and guarantees its conservation over time.

About the artist:

My name is Gaby Acevedo. I am a visual artist. I live and produce my works in Spain. For more than 25 years I have been developing an artistic practice focused on contemporary abstract painting, where color, matter and collage are the pillars of my visual language.
My work arises from observation and dialogue with landscapes, the spaces we inhabit, and the marks they leave on our memory. Each series responds to a different investigation, but all share the purpose of transforming experience into a visual language open to emotion and free interpretation.
Each work is unique and is made entirely by hand in my studio with high-quality professional materials. All my paintings are signed, dated and supplied with a certificate of authenticity.
