Up for auction is a remarkable piece of wearable art: a solid sterling silver crucifix finished in stunning 24-karat gold (vermeil). Minted circa 1972 in an exclusive collaboration between the surrealist master Salvador Dalí and the Lincoln Mint, this rare medallion weighs approximately 4 grams.
Iconic Design: Dalí’s legendary, fluid interpretation of the Christ of St. John of the Cross features a masterfully sculpted corpus and unique ribbon-styled arms.
