Michail Stavrianidis - Erwartung

Michail Stavrianidis is an artist born in Tbilisi. In 2005 he completed his studies at the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, specializing in monumental painting. For over 25 years he has devoted himself to painting, combining his academic training with a modern, expressive approach.

In this work the female figure is central, surrounded by an intense, almost abstract color world. Cool blues and greens contrast with red, gold, and ochre, creating an atmosphere of emotional tension and movement. The figure is depicted with particular attention to corporeality, light, and color, while the background is characterized by free, expressive brushstrokes.

The artist's works are in private collections in Italy, Greece, the USA, and Spain. From 2001 to 2020 he participated in group exhibitions in Georgia.
