Alphonse Mucha (1860-1939) is one of the undisputed masters of Art Nouveau and a fundamental figure in the history of decorative modern art. His instantly recognizable style, characterized by elegant female figures, flowing lines, ornamental halos, and rich botanical motifs, has become synonymous with fin-de-siècle Paris and the emergence of graphic art as a gathered discipline.

Mucha's works enjoy lasting international demand, with high prices for posters, lithographs, and decorative panels, which appeal just as much to visual art enthusiasts, design fans, and interior stylists.

Alphonse Mucha was a Czech painter, illustrator, and graphic artist who mostly worked in Paris, France.

For financial reasons, Mucha began by designing posters and eventually established himself as a poster designer known for his pronounced stylized and decorative designs. Mucha created this poster of a woman in an orange adorned outfit for Moët & Chandon, a French champagne house founded in 1743 by Claude Moët.
