An exceptional and elegant early 20th-century wooden Tantalus decanter set. Crafted from rich mahogany wood featuring delicate geometric marquetry inlays and a central fan rosette. The set houses three heavy, hand-cut crystal decanters with original faceted globe stoppers, complete with silvered liquor label tags ("Whisky", "Cognac", "Porto").
The front features an engraved brass plaque marked "CHATEAU A CASSIS Sep.1912", which is a distinguished castle in Southern France, giving this piece fantastic historical charm and provenance appeal.
