Sviatlana Petushkova - Blue Room

"Blue Room" by Sviatlana Petushkova is a bold, intimate, and deeply empowering homage to the natural female form, body positivity, and authentic self-acceptance. Continuing the artist's refined exploration of modern figurative minimalism, this composition captures the graceful, natural contours of the hips and lower back. Rendered in warm, velvety skin tones and crisp, expressive line-work, the figure radiates calm confidence against a bright sky-blue background adorned with clean, vertical teal stripes. The artwork celebrates the quiet beauty of vulnerability and the joy of embracing one's own body completely and unconditionally.

Technique & Style:
Executed in premium acrylic on stretched canvas, the painting masterfully blends pop-art graphic precision with tender figurative intimacy. Petushkova utilizes smooth, flat application of pigment paired with clear, fluid contouring to accentuate organic curves. The sharp contrast between the cool, architectural lines of the blue backdrop and the soft, sun-warmed hues of the figure creates a striking visual harmony that feels both modern and deeply comforting.
