Description from the seller
Political Soviet manifesto dedicated to the Communist Third International.
Note: This is a later edition probably from the 1950s.
The composition, attributed to the Russian artist Sergei Ivanov, depicts a worker with a red flag. The slogan “Long live the Third Communist International” appears in Russian on the banner and in English, Italian, French and German in the lower band. The original drawing is dated between 1919 and 1921 and is a significant example of Soviet propaganda graphics.
A work of great historical and collecting interest, ideal for enthusiasts of the Russian avant-garde, the USSR, Soviet propaganda, constructivism and 20th-century political graphics.
