Bamboo, Rattan, and Red Vinyl
A fascinating and rare 1970s vintage picnic basket (Mid-Century style), characterized by an eye-catching and bold design. This piece combines the exotic elegance of naturally curved bamboo and rattan structures with the vibrancy of the red vinyl leatherette, typical of the color palette and pop culture of that decade.
The bag presents a robust perimeter structure and wide ergonomic handles entirely made of handwoven bamboo. The top closure is finished with a central flap coordinated with a perfectly functioning chromed metal snap buckle.
A collectible piece ideal both as a decorative element to give a Space Age / Retro chic touch to the home, and to be used during picnics outdoors or classic car meetups.
