Faïencerie de Somain - Jardinière - Model 207 - Earthenware

Vintage barbotine (majolica) ceramic piece from the Faïencerie de Somain, recognizable by the relief stamp SOMAIN and model number 207 on the bottom. The jardinière is in very good condition with minor signs of use (see photos). The Somain pottery was based in France and produced between circa 1905 and 1940 (when the factory was destroyed) characteristic earthenware, including decorative pieces in Art Nouveau and Art Deco styles with floral relief. Model 207 appears as glazed barbotine (vase or planter) with organic relief decorations. Dimensions: length 34 cm, width 12 cm, height 17 cm.
