Description from the seller
In Full Bloom, the moment when transformation is no longer a promise, but a presence. The blooming becomes the symbol of the most authentic part of the human being: invisible to the eye, yet able to emerge with strength.
In this series, the face gives way to a flower made in genuine copper. It does not hide identity, but reveals it. Each flower represents inner growth, the courage to evolve, and the beauty that arises from embracing change.
Copper, a living material destined to change over time, makes each sculpture a work in continuous evolution. Its surface will slowly change, just as people transform through experiences, emotions, and memories.
The figures, essential and silent, become universal: they do not tell the story of a specific person, but the moment when each of us reaches our own full bloom.
The collection is produced in a limited edition. While sharing the same artistic language, each sculpture is enriched with a different real copper flower, individually modeled. For this reason, each work is unrepeatable and unique in its kind: an exclusive blooming, with its own identity and its own story.
In Full Bloom is an invitation to recognize that true beauty does not reside in perfection, but in the courage to become what one truly is.
Material: resin and marble powder and copper
Limited edition of 50 pieces.
* Original piece signed by the artist, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
SERENA GRASSETTI — CONTEMPORARY ARTIST
Serena Grassetti is an Italian contemporary artist whose research explores the complexity of the human being, examining identity, memory, fragility, and inner transformation through a personal and multidisciplinary artistic language.
A daughter of art, trained at the Istituto d’Arte di Macerata, she has developed over the years a deep understanding of material and its expressive possibilities, experimenting with painting, sculpture, modeling, resins, charcoal, and techniques related to Natural Art. This experience forms the foundation of a practice in which the material is not mere support, but an integral part of the artwork’s meaning.
At the center of her research is the body understood as a psychological and symbolic space: a presence capable of manifesting what words cannot express. Through incomplete figures, gestures full of tension, and forms that oscillate between presence and dissolution, Grassetti gives visual substance to the deepest states of the human experience.
Her work participates in the international dialogue of sculpture and contemporary figurative art, thematically related to the research of Rabarama, Berlinde De Bruyckere, and Xiang Jing, while the dialogue with Andy Warhol, Banksy, and KAWS opens a reflection on the different ways contemporary art interprets identity and the human condition.
With works shown in exhibitions in Italy and abroad, Serena Grassetti develops research aimed at moving beyond superficial representation to reach a more intimate and universal dimension. Her poetics rest on a fundamental principle: giving form to what cannot be seen, but which profoundly determines what we are.
