Description of the work
Fascinating mixed media painting on canvas by Master Adrien Moroni (1943), titled "Collation à la Colle" and dated 1990.
The work is a splendid outdoor still life that immediately evokes the luminous and relaxed atmospheres of the French Midi (the title refers to La Colle-sur-Loup, a famous artistic locality on the French Riviera). The composition develops around a table laid in front of typical blue shutters and a lush background of vegetation. Protagonists of the scene are two elegant glass carafes, a bowl with fruit, a rich bunch of grapes and a white tablecloth laid down with softness, all rendered with a fresh, tactile brushstroke clearly inspired by post-impressionism.
The color palette, dominated by shades of blue, azure, and green, is vibrant and gives the scene extraordinary luminosity and a sense of a fresh Mediterranean breeze.

Back of the canvas: Signed in full "A. Moroni", dated "A. Moroni. 90" at lower left, and hand-titled by the artist "Collation à la Colle".
Frame: Bears the quality stamp of the frame manufacturer "Berge 12P" (French standard size 12 Paysage, corresponding to 61 x 46 cm) and the measurements annotations on the back of the frame.

The work is in excellent conservation condition. The colors are vivid and the canvas is perfectly stretched on its original frame. The frame shows very slight signs of time that do not compromise its aesthetics, making the piece ready to be hung and displayed.
