Sculpture, Le Travail - 41 cm - Alloy

The height of this specific sculpture generally ranges from 41 cm to 70 cm, depending on the version, the foundry, and whether there is an additional base (such as a marble or wooden pedestal).
The work is titled Le Travail (The Work) and is attributed, after various researches, to the French sculptor V. Constant (active between the 19th and 20th centuries). It depicts a young blacksmith or craftsman leaning on an anvil while holding a hammer or a work tool.
The statue in question shows a slight, barely noticeable solder on the left arm, but otherwise it is really well kept, a family heirloom from my grandfather.
