Description from the seller
Straight from the gallery "D uli - Arts"
This artwork is from the series "Homage a´ Yves Klein"
Yves Klein was one of the co-founders of Pop Art along with Andy Warhol and Jeff Koons.
His unforgettable "Blaue Quadrat" with the most beautiful and intense blue I have ever seen.
All objects were personally handcrafted by me with elaborate handwork.
Parts of the hand-finishing traces are visible, underscoring the uniqueness of each object
Hand-signed
Edition no. 2/2
Ultramarine blue pigments, produced in a sophisticated mixture, absorb light.
The darker the room, the more intensely the blue glows because it absorbs the remaining light.
My artworks are presented at art fairs such as Cologne, Dresden, Frankfurt, Paris, Luxembourg, Hamburg, Munich, Monaco, Strasbourg, Lyon...
My Pop Art combines art and everyday life.
An elementary feature of Pop Art is the often trivial objects known from daily life, from popular culture, media and advertising.
The motifs used are torn from their original context,
modified by me and thus given a new life as an "art object".
