​Detailed description (French):
​Stunning vintage Swiss timepiece from the Dreffa Genève manufacture (founded in 1874), dating from the early 1970s. This watch combines the elegance of vintage design with the reliability of a high-performance automatic movement.
​Case:
​Finish: Cushion-shaped gold-plated case (with stainless steel screw-down case back).
Diameter: 35 mm (excluding crown) / 40 mm (with crown)
Lug-to-lug length: 45 mm
Interlug width: 18 mm
​Condition & Mechanism:
​Movement: Swiss automatic calibre with 25 jewels (25 Jewels) signed A. Schild (AS 2066). A. Schild was a renowned Swiss manufacturer whose movements, reputed for their reliability, equipped, from the 1950s to the 1970s, models from major watchmakers such as Tudor or Jaeger-LeCoultre. The movement is in exemplary cleanliness, lubricated at the gear and jewel levels. It runs perfectly and keeps accurate time.
Crown: 100% original, bearing the Dreffa relief logo (a detail sought by collectors).
Dial: Original ivory/silver dial with date window at 3 o’clock, applied indices and matching hands, showing a very beautiful natural patina.
Case back: Stainless steel, screw-down (engraved Automatic, Incabloc, Antimagnetic, Waterresistant, ref. 1201 / R2-636).
