Le Yack, La Liseuse du deuxième étage - Hand-signed, 60 x 40 cm, mixed media print on canvas (giclée) in a limited edition of 20 numbered copies, created in 2023, signed by the artist, shipped from France with a certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
The blue hour on a street of brownstones. The facade fades softly, the trees silhouette against a deep sky, a black sedan is parked along the curb. Only one window is lit: that of a woman reading, curled up in an armchair, under the amber glow of a lamp.
We walk down the street, we look up, and we would want to know which book is holding her there. That is the magic of painting: turning a simple rectangle of light into a refuge, a secret, a story.
An intimate, silent American nocturne, built on the dialogue between the blue of the night and the gold of an interior.
A work of silence and space, designed to calm an entire room.
