Le Yack, Le Second Gant - Hand-signed, a 40 x 40 cm limited edition digital print from France, created in 2023, signed by hand, from an edition of 20, in good condition.
Description from the seller
A 1960s airport bar, bathed in the golden late-afternoon light. She sits at the counter in a red dress, chin resting on a gloved hand. The other glove is already on the zinc, next to a glass she has hardly touched. Outside, a plane waits on the tarmac.
In the chrome column, her reflection looks back at her. Two faces, two possible choices: to leave, or to stay a little longer. Le Yack captures exactly that moment—the moment when one glove is removed, and it is still unknown whether the other will come off.
Chrome, black leather, low sun: a cinema scene whose ending you alone know.
An artwork of silence and space, conceived to soothe an entire room.
