Vintage Jerger marine weather station from Germany, circa 1980–1990, with three analog instruments in a brass case on a wood panel, dimensions 47 cm wide by 18 cm high by 9 cm deep, weight about 1.3 kg, including a quartz nautical clock, a combined thermo-hygrometer and a barometer, in excellent used condition.
Description from the seller
This object is a Vintage Maritime Weather Station with 3 dials, produced in Germany by the historic marine maker "JERGER".
It consists of three analog instruments with a polished brass case (STUNNING) mounted horizontally on a precious wooden panel (I believe mahogany) with angular fittings in gilded brass.
It is advisable to first mount the panel to the wall and then insert the clock module (as it is the most easily removable from the mounting pins to allow maintenance (time adjustment and battery change)) to prevent it from falling to the floor during the wall-mounting operation.
Important: Original Vintage Naval Meteorological Triptych Weather Station branded "JERGER" Made in Germany (80s).
Truly splendid object in excellent aesthetic condition and fully functioning.
The station comprises the following instruments:
1) Nautical Clock "Marine Time" analog (quartz) perfectly functioning
2) Combined Thermo-Hygrometer to measure temperature on dual scales (Celsius and Fahrenheit) and relative humidity
3) Aneroid Barometer
All in excellent condition and regularly working.
This is a complete meteorological system for navigation, a real rarity.
Dimensions: 47 cm wide, 18 cm tall and 9 cm deep.
Weight about 1.4 kg.
