Undertow

Undertow is an abstract painting built from layers of deep blue, turquoise, soft cream and touches of gold. Loose brushstrokes and flowing white marks move across the canvas, while darker areas give the painting a sense of depth. Some parts feel calm and open; others seem to be shifting beneath the surface.
