About the artist: Sonia Anton is a Romanian-Australian artist based in Bucharest. Growing up around her mother’s atelier in Antibes, she developed an early connection to painting and creative expression. Her years living across Europe, Australia and Mexico continue to shape her use of colour, texture and atmosphere. Self-taught, Sonia creates abstract and figurative works that leave room for personal interpretation. Her paintings are held in private collections across Romania, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal and the Netherlands.
