Italian school (XVII) - Madonna con Bambino

Painting, oil on canvas, depicting a Madonna with Child dating from around 1650–1700. The work has been cleaned by the writer and not restored as it is complete and without damage, as the expert will notice. The whole piece is original to its period. As a collector, I believe the work should be attributed to the Lombard school of the aforementioned period; indeed, the Madonna’s high forehead recalls the Northern School of the period.
