Description
This delightful 3D silkscreen by the celebrated American Pop artist James Rizzi (1950–2011), titled High Wire, was created in 1990.
The work captures a lively and whimsical circus performance, featuring tightrope walkers, acrobats, unicyclists, and clowns in a vibrant, action-packed composition. Rizzi’s distinctive technique of hand-cutting and layering paper elements creates a charming three-dimensional effect, giving the scene a wonderful sense of movement and depth.
The work is hand-signed “RIZZI” in pencil, titled “HIGH WIRE”, marked “A/P” (Artist’s Proof), and dated “1990” in the lower margin.
