Anonymous. Sampler of Drawings for Certificates and Diplomas. Turin, Doyen, undated but 1910. A very rare historical-typographic document on the famous Piedmontese company Litografia Doyen by Luigi Simonetti, founded in Turin in 1833. Impressive assortment of diploma designs decorated with frames and figures in the typical Art Nouveau style with an abundance of floral friezes, female figures, coats of arms, and small streetscenes. Unbound but well sewn. Illustrated by 98 plates of diploma facsimiles. Dimensions 16x12, pages 100. Excellent condition.
