Viennese 800 silver cutlery service by J.C. Klinkosch, dating from 1850–1900, comprising 18 pieces with a total weight of 1627 g and in fair condition with heavy wear and possible missing small parts; includes forks, knives, spoons and a serving piece with Rococo-inspired relief decor and hallmarks of the Austrian–Hungarian head of Diana and the JCK mark, and knives with stainless steel blades.

Important Viennese silver service in 800/1000 silver, J.C. Klinkosch
The service is incomplete and one knife is broken (see photos).
The cutlery features a rich historicist / neoclassical decoration in Rocaille style, with scrolls, foliate motifs and flower motifs finely carved in relief.
The cutlery bears the characteristic Austro-Hungarian stamp with the head of Diana. In addition, the well-known JCK mark of J.C. Klinkosch, Vienna. The impression is partially faded due to age and the individual letters are not all fully legible.
The handles of the knives also bear the stamp “800”. The blades are stainless steel and bear the corresponding inscription.
