Oil on panel

Religious-themed triptych, created in the 19th century, drawing on models and inspiration from Gothic painting.

The paintings are set in an antique gilded wooden frame, older than the panels themselves, of notable ornamental richness.

The frame, topped at its upper part by a composition with two cherubs, vegetal motifs, and musical instruments, gives the overall work a distinctly solemn and ceremonial character.
